Escrow London Receives G-Cloud 10 Approval – the ability to provide the Public Sector with market leading SaaS and Software Escrow Solutions

Software and SaaS Escrow supplier Escrow London today announced that they have successfully been approved to supply their innovative escrow solutions through the latest iteration of the government’s G-Cloud framework.

G-Cloud 10 For Cloud-Based Computer Services

G-Cloud 10 is the Crown Commercial Service’s procurement framework for cloud-based computer services hosted via the Digital Marketplace. The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) works with organisations across the public sector to ensure that maximum value is extracted from all commercial relationships and to improve the quality of service delivery. Being available through the digital marketplace means that departments and organisations can purchase the technology and deploy it quickly through pre-approved commercial arrangements.

An example of a typical SaaS escrow solution would be a situation where a cloud hosted CRM (for example) is used by a public-sector organisation. This CRM application and database are hosted by a third-party vendor. The public-sector user wants the assurance that if the third-party vendor unexpectedly ceases their activities, that they will be able to continue using the application in a replicated environment hosted by Escrow London.
